im lost for words

Nevermind that I have not contributed for so long but I’ve been busy. I’m currently grounded with the script I have yet to transcribe from my brain to paper and it does not look too good but I’m optimistic. Gonna run it down with Khirni and Zhak this weekend I presume.

First and foremost,I would like to welcome a new addition to my family, lil niece Natasha.

Holding an infant may cause funny reaction from a 24-year-old like me for instance as I was happily laughing to myself and playing around with her tiny fingers to touch her nose and drew stares and the blank "Ape yang Nawar buat huh? Buang tebiat punye budak*." from my mom. It was nice getting to hold an infant again after quite some time and I can’t wait to have one of my own. No pressure though. Hehe.

Congratulations to one of my guys in my platoon for getting hitched on National Day no less. Djohann aka Joel is the one in yellow.

He had a really cool concept of red and black for his wedding colors and strangely enough, I felt as if I was stuck in either Dracula’s cloak or in a wrapper of Coted’Or chocolate.

The fireworks - I only managed to catch the New Caledonia team’s presentation and it was magnificent. Didnt really manage to get good photos for that so I didnt bother putting it up. But that night was special as it finally dispelled all limitations and overbearing consternations that might have accumulated and I would like to say, emancipation of the heart is still prevalent within everyone. Just like the fireworks. God bless fireworks.Alhamdullillah.

And I just got beaten up by Sugar Ray Leonard. I wished.

Been on hiatus for almost a month due to my imprisonment in green (2 weeks) and being down injured (1 week) and I do not know where the rest of the time went but i’m sure i spent it wisely…or so i wish.

Hopefully, I’ll post pics in my next post because there’s a lot of things coming up in the next week. A Wedding, the Shadow and the Chalet.

It’s been raining a lot recently and it’s getting to me. I mean literally. It got to me as I have to go to work with soggy socks. Soggy socks.The ultimate disdain of my life ever since I found the freedom to walk. I hated it when I was a kid and still do now. Doesnt help the cause when I suffered the pain of eczema (or footrot as NS personnel would describe it) during the army. Damn soggy socks.

Got down to the heat of shopping for Sikin these past few weeks. I love being a fashion consultant for her. It’s like having a human-size, walking,battery-free Barbie to work on. I must admit that I may not be that fashion-wise or street-trend savvy, (but on the other hand, I’m not a "Trendy A**hole", I just like nice things)  it’s just I love the feeling of dolling up someone. Must be the "Softer" side of me showing. No, wait, I am already soft. Rats.

Found this design on a shirt in second-hand shop in Arab Street.

Reminds me of the print on the Stussy x Vans Sk8 Hi released this year. The funny thing is, I found the print on a crammy shirt and it looked like shite. Makes me wonder how Stussy manages to make something look so good even with shite. Damn them bitches laughing to the bank…

The second-hand shop on Arab Street was House of Japan and wasnt really that impressive as some newpaper reports claim it to be. Sikin manage to get herself a denim skirt (which was hot btw) but generally, most of the stuff would make me look as if I just got out of a mine shaft (no offence to miners all over the world)…

And there’s this small shop in Bugis Street, Sikin loves it there. Really nice clothes for girls and best of all,most of the stuff are going for $15 only…

Went to have dinner with the Charm, Xavier, Hansen and Eunice +1…nice to see them around too…funny clip of Charm doin a backflip on her bike…simply hilarious but she’s tough for a chick…tougher than me, for the matter…tougher than hansen too…hehe…

And a chicken seems to have made residence at the bustop which I take to go home from work. It’s waiting for the bus full of chicks, I guess…haha…i crack myself up…ha…ha…okay,lame.

A new cap had also picked up residence in my room too, my friends. A new New Era x Nixon collabo! It was either this or the Dave’s Quality Meat x New Era but the latter made my head look funny from the side as it had panel linings for the back part of the cap. That looked dope too but I was feeling the Nixon one because one, it was black on black (I wanted something to go with any outfit color) and two, Mos Def/Kweli rock Nixon too…hehe…one,two,three!!! (This baby is hot! Thanks Hunny for the gift!)

And much Love and Congratulations to Zihan and her husband, Zairi on their Union of companionship…may yall have heaps of love and fun together!

(And yes,Zihan, I did go for your wedding…me and Zhak were just late…ask your brother, he’s our alibi…)

Hahaha…the World Cup is here and evidently, i have not been getting enough sleep the past few days. The flu, cold and the oh-so-hated eyebags start to surface on my delicate face. Not to mention I’m walking with a limp ever since last friday…played football and got stuck in a tackle or two…ahh, nothin but ice can’t do.

A recap of what has been happening in the World Cup.

1) I’m not thoroughly happy with how the Asian and African teams are faring. All of them so far have lost. It’s not that they are playing badly, it’s just that they suck in scoring. And I hope for the best for South Korea and Togo as they square off against each other. Well, someone’s gotta lose right.

2) Brazil is playing tonight too…hopefully they dont disappoint me with sombre football. I want a bit of samba please.

3) If yall are observant, you can see that I have a bit of backing for the lesser teams other than Brazil (they need the football, they dont have anything else except for the Amazon)…I still do sentimentally support England as they have Wayne in there but after their first match with Paraguay, their chances are equal as shite in the stinker. Total crap i tell you.

I wish i could have posted up some photos of me playing football but it did not turn out too well with the phone i got due to the light and the rain that day.May

I’m beginning to feel that my email address hates me.Or thinks that I’m a loser.It’s filled to the brim with spam ranging from…Milf C**ksucker to Win A New Plasma TV to Dive in the Caribbean to Watch Annie Eat Her C**t( And her dog’s too!)…Its pissing me off alot and everytime i open up my inbox,there’s hundreds of them to clear.Argh…dont wanna go thru the hassle of setting up a new email addy…bloody spamidiots.

And i figured that my brother is significantly immature on his choice content from the "idiot box" - the tv. This morning he was gleefully smiling and sniggering at a kids cartoon called Rolie Polie Olie where it had a family of yellow Mr Snowman-lookalikes imitating a train while bumping on their asses.Quality TV that, mind you. Compare this to Visionaries or Transformers and I’ll choose my choice of cartoons any day.

Watch X-men III the other day with Sikin and yes, it was entertaining and all but it seemed lightweight in terms of character development and depth of plot.Though hard to extend the time for movies to accomodate plot intricacies, I wished more consideration was put into the thought process in making the show. At least to appease the fanboys.And too bad, Apocalypse or GahLakTus didnt make any appearances but it would really spoil the flow of the movie franchise as alien invasion and shit would make it less relative to the plot of stereotyping anyone different from the ordinary.

And X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalpyse rocks. Wolverine really kicks ass in this.

Life itself has taught me a lot of lessons and i know death awaits, telling me to resolve my issues and experience what the world offers. With experience, only will the knowledge can be acquired. I’m very lucky to being able to enjoy life’s pleasures and wanting to be alive has given me much needed reason to continue this blind endeavour of mine.

One thing, unfortunately, that life has not taught me, is to accept what comes the way it is. I can accept and believe that fate and pre-destination is part of life but life still has yet to open to me about sadness and regret when things do not go the right direction and i cannot decide and pre-empt of how far I can manage damage control.

Yes, I am weak.

Yes, I am dishevelled.

Yes, I am weary.

For I am just a man. A mistake-filled, imperfect man.

But life has taught me one thing.

"Do not give up, my friend",it said to me. "I can only get better if you only try harder and give up all your insecurities around you. Go, be a better person and let me help you to resolve your mistakes. Just try, my friend. Just try."

Im back! Damn elections took some of my time and i couldnt really think much as i had to drag my brown ass to work at 5am in the morning for 10 days and the days before that were hectic too. But i managed to get some fresh air and spend a wonderful dinner with my family and Sikin last week.

Amazingly, 3 more friends came into my wardrobe of toys…please welcome the Miho "twins" of Sin City (in color and sepia style) and one of my beloved movie characters played by Brandon Lee…Eric "The Crow" Draven. I dont have their pictures up yet as i am at work now…Lovely and most gracious thanks to my beloved Sikin…

And, my friends, please do shed me some light on this matter i encountered that same day of getting those wonderful toys…

As we were leaving China Square, me and Sikin met with an acquaintance both of us knew. As Sikin went up to her and called her name, i stood a couple steps away from where they were. And to my surprise, did you know what the first words the acquaintance said to Sikin?

Sikin: "Hey, ****. How are you doin?"

****: "You still with him?"

Note: I could hear what she was saying as i said, i was only a couple steps away from them, even though i was busy texting someone.

What’s with that? Damn. Am i that bad? Hmm…Sikin told me not to worry and yeah, i brushed it off. Nothing trivial fazes me especially words from someone as trivial as that person. To quote an example of this person is that she once told people we knew that she had a degree and went around the world and she was ONLY working at the airport to kill time and she was only 18 then, i just feel sad for her and hopes the best for her future endeavours.

So tell me my friends, am I that bad?

whooopee…its been a good week of detoxification…just had my one week of leave and im glad i took it.cleansed the soul and even more so, i spent a good time with my ladylove as it was our special weekend out together. went on hiatus just for that. nothing’s better than to free yourselves from the everyday world especially in my work where i constantly worry about the next epidemic that’s breaking out in Shenzhen or feel apathetic to the deaths and civil strife  in Liberia. These news are very saddening and there’s nothing much that i can do but sit in my chair in my office and regurgitate at life’s most complex problems without a hint how it is.

Anyway,this was suppose to be a happy post.

First up, my dinner with Sikin at Sofra’s was good and scrumptious! I love that place. Ambience was good and warmly-lit, Service was smiles galore(could be the fact that we were the only customers around as we had arrived a little early for dinner at 5.15) and the mood was perfect outside as it was drizzling and it had that romantic f/x to it all.

Well, sad to say that i dont have any more photos as the batteries died on me at that moment. Silly me for not recharging it. We spent a good two hours there and ended it with silly handheld TV games and the funny Scrat of Ice Age 2.

Next,our picnic in Sentosa!

Had a fun time basking in the sun with our homemade food and played in the sea…bought a baseball bat to play sea homerun between us and i signed it too to give it a collector’s edition feel to it. and the two of us wanted to become beachboy and gerl for no reason;p
