seconds to takeoff

hey hey…

From where i left off last month, things have changed for the better and life now is in its normalcy and I’m downright grateful for that. But it still needs a lil bit of work on it though. During my hiatus in KL for my translation course, things were abrewing behind the scenes and it boiled over the sides when I came back. Measures had to be taken and thankfully, we did.

December
But enough of that…I would love to share with yall the photos I took in KL for the course but unfortunately and regretfully, I have no idea where the memory card is. The course was good and informative but one thing for sure is that translation is not as easy as you might think it is. Then in mid-December, helped out with my cousin’s wedding and it was a joyous occasion as it should be. I became the pengiring again for the second consecutive time. Must be the looks, I guess.

January 2007

Happy New Year !!! Okay, that’s a belated one for everyone. Finally staged the D&D for my company as I was part of the committee and it was great but for a minor hiccup (Major actually if you consider the backlash it might generate in the long term). Went to watch John Legend at the Esplanade with malady the other day.Great performer he is, put on a good solid show that lasted almost a couple hours. The only gripe about it is he didn’t perform "Each Day Gets Better" from his new album.  Managed to catch a couple of movies since the turn of the year and they proved to be quite good for a start. "Borat" was undoubtedly the best comedy of 2006 and it nearly busted my guts laughing at it (My wife’s made the cheeze a with her tits!!) and managed to watch Guillermo del Toro’s beautifully scripted and colorful imagined "Pan’s Labyrinth" recently.

With February on the way, Insyallah I will be restarting my journey to get my BA soon with Monash University at the end of the month. I’ve yet to visit my friend in Jakarta  and should be planning to anytime soon.

God bless the people in Johor. Hope they keep well and strong.

Till later,keep ya hats on.
